Detailed Itinerary
You’ll meet your guide at the Mt. Esja Hiking Center, just 25 minutes from Reykjavík. After a warm welcome, your guide will check you in, answer any questions, and make sure everyone is ready for the adventure.
How to get there
Reaching Fálkaklettur is simple and convenient. All tours start from Mt. Esja Hiking Center (Esjustofa), located just a short 20–25 minute drive from Reykjavík city center.
Driving instructions
- Drive east out of Reykjavík on Route 1 (the Ring Road) toward Mosfellsbær.
- Continue past the town until you see signs for “Esja/Esjustofa”.
- Turn right into the parking area at Mt Esja.
- Free parking is available on site.
