Join our experienced instructors in the spectacular Fálkaklettur (translates to Falcon Rock) Via Ferrata. We offer guided tours that provide an unforgettable experience with spectacular views over the ocean towards Reykjavik city. Starting from Mt. Esja parking lot, only a 25 minutes drive from Reykjavik city center. The tour takes 3 hours. Climbing Fálkaklettur is a great achievement you can be proud of, overcoming challenges.

- Hiking shoes. We recommend hiking shoes with ankle support but trail running shoes can also be used
- We do not recommend climbing with a backpack but you can leave a bag at the start of the climb

When arriving from Route 1, turn left and drive about 200 meters west and park in the paved parking lot where we will meet you.

Can I go on my own?
It is possible to climb the Fálkaklettur Via ferrata on your own. The following conditions must be met:
- Book a time by sending an email to info@falkaklettur.is and pay ISK 4,500 per person.
- Have relevant climbing experience.
- Have approved safety equipment, including a helmet, climbing harness, and Via Ferrata equipment with a shock absorber in accordance with standard EN 958.
Booking is limited to specific times that do not overlap with our groups.
All sales and guidance must go through Fjallafélagið ehf.
The route is monitored with CCTV cameras.
